PBG Issuance Service

PT JOGOSAWA PRIMA CONSULTANT

What Is PBG?

Formerly known as IMB (Building Permit), Building Approval (PBG) is a formal permit granted to building owners for constructing new buildings, modifying, expanding, or changing the function of a building in accordance with applicable technical standards. This is regulated under Government Regulation No. 16, Article 1 Point 17 of 2021.

Without Building Approval (PBG), building owners are at significant risk of facing future issues, including administrative sanctions such as written warnings, fines, restrictions on construction activities, limitations on building use, and even demolition. Therefore, PBG is crucial—not only for legal compliance but also to ensure that the building is used according to its intended purpose.

Why Is Building Permit (PBG) So Important?

Building Permit (PBG) is essential for building owners who are planning to carry out construction, as it ensures legal compliance, safety, and the proper function of the building.

Moreover, Building Permit PBG is crucial when the building is to be used for financing purposes—whether through domestic or foreign investment.

With an approved PBG, the construction process and the eventual use of the building are officially recognized and legally protected under Indonesian law.
